This policy explains what information Leopard and Lace Boutique ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website or shop with us, how we use it and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Order information: your name, email, shipping address, phone number and what you bought. You enter this on our secure checkout page.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Square. Your card details go directly to Square and are never seen or stored by us.
- Email list: if you subscribe, we keep your email address so we can send you news, new arrivals and offers.
- Shopping assistant chats: what you type into our chat assistant (see below).
- Reviews: the first name, star rating and review you submit. Approved reviews are shown publicly with your first name only.
- Back-in-stock requests: your email and the item you asked about. We email you once when it's back and then delete the request.
- Browsing information: pages viewed, device and browser type, and similar details, collected through cookies only if you accept them. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, including order issues.
- To send emails you asked for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To answer your questions, by email or through the shopping assistant.
- If you accept cookies, to understand how our site is used and to measure and improve our ads.
- To prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the store:
- Square, for checkout, payments, order records and our customer list.
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
- Anthropic, which provides the AI behind our shopping assistant. Messages you send in the chat are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply.
- Resend, which sends our emails (your welcome code and back-in-stock alerts).
- Upstash, which stores reviews and back-in-stock requests for our website.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and TikTok, for analytics and advertising, only if you accept cookies.
- Authorities, when required by law.
Shopping assistant
Our chat assistant is an AI tool. It answers using our product and policy information and can make mistakes, so please confirm anything important with us by email. Your conversation is saved in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off, and you can clear it anytime with "New chat." Please don't share payment details or other sensitive information in the chat.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, or by emailing us.
- Accept or decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner, and change your choice on our Cookie Policy page.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@leopardandlace.shop. We'll respond within 30 days.
Keeping your information safe
Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and payments run through Square's secure, PCI-compliant checkout. We keep order records only as long as we need them for business, tax and legal purposes.
Children
Our site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
